Meet the Coaches
Jefferson Football Head Coach Marc "Woody" Bachman
Coach Bachman just finished his 2nd season serving as defensive coordinator for Jefferson. Coach Bachman spent 10 seasons serving as an assistant coach and co-special teams coordinator at Gustavus Adolphus College. Coach Bachman has also serves as head football coach at St. Peter and Mankato Loyola and as an assistant coach at Augsburg University and Eden Prairie. Coach Bachman taught at St. Peter High School from 1993-2022 and served as Operations and Maintenance Supervisor since 2008. Coach Bachman is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and Fairmont High School. Woody and his wife Wendy, a Jefferson graduate, have four children: Beau, Alina, Chloe, and Avery.
